WHAT IS AN OUTFITTED HUNT?
An outfitted hunt is any hunt where we supply you with the equipment you need to do your own hunt.(see gear list below) We also provide you with a premium hunting area that has been sellected for your success. Local knowledge and expertise that will improve your chances of taking game, over-the-phone consultation with an experienced guide who will walk you through the whole process from start to finish, advice on selecting a good air charter service, and much more. It's basically a guided hunt without the guide.

We outfit the following types of hunts:

• Caribou drop-camp hunts.
• Moose drop-camp hunts.
• Float hunts for moose and / or caribou.

WHY AN OUTFITTED HUNT?

Many hunters prefer a non-guided hunt- for various reasons. Perhaps you're experienced enough in Alaska hunting that you don't need a guide to assist you. Perhaps you're a non-resident with enough hunting experience that you're ready to tackle Alaska.

The satisfaction of taking a large moose on your own in the wilds of Alaska is second to none. Many of our outfitted hunters are experienced deer and elk hunters from other states, who want to try Alaska on their own.

Obviously, Alaska hunting is different from other places, and even experienced hunters will need a hand. We'll give you whatever degree of assistance you require in order to make your Alaska hunt the adventure of a lifetime!

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
All of the gear we supply on our outfitted hunts is the same stuff we use in our guided camps and the same quality we use even on our own personal hunts around the state of Alaska.

Everything has been checked out and verified to be in good working order, and we include repair parts just in case something breaks out in the field.

OVERVIEW OF NON-GUIDED HUNTS

HOW DOES IT WORK? It all starts with an over-the-phone assessment as to your requirements and needs. From there, we'll get your camp gear together for you from our ample store of top-quality gear (the same stuff we use on our guided hunts), then purchase your food per your requirements (if you desire), and select a prime hunting location for you that will give you plenty of elbow room to look for that trophy moose or caribou for your ten-day hunt. We'll even provide you with a list of reliable air charter services to get you there and back again after your hunt.
